I am very sorry that I did not post for a while. But with mom being out of commission and with a whole garden to keep me busy, I did not have any time for hijacking mom’s computer.
Oooh, I must tell you I am an aunt now, Lian my human brother adopted a puppy two weeks ago. Her name is Oprah and she is a very busy little pup.

Oprah steals my food and toys. So, I am forced to hide my favorite toys from her by digging holes in the garden. Mom gets so mad she says I am ruining her garden….
Mom and Lian, says I must help them potty train Oprah. I must take her outside when I go outside. But Oprah is very naughty, as soon as she sets foot in the house, she makes a puddle or a stinkbom….
Oprah is busy in the sunroom, terrorizing Ogies.
I must say life is very busy these days. All Oprah wants to do is play, eat and sleep. I hide on mom’s bed to get away from her. I used to go lie on the couch, but Oprah got a way up and now I have no peace and quiet on the couch.
I get very jealous when Oprah sits on mom’s lap. But I am a clever girl, I devise a plan so that Oprah gets down from mom’s lap then I climb on and give mom lots of kisses. Mom keeps telling me I am her girl and she loves me to the moon and back.
Mom said if I am good, we can go for walks again in the Spring. Then her leg will be healed… Till then I will have to play with Oprah, and go on the occasional drive with mom.
I do love Oprah and I try to protect her. Mom says I am a good girl and I would have made a good mommy.
I am very sorry that I did not post for a while. But Mom was so busy at her computer that I did not have a chance to hijack it.
A lot has happened since I last talked to you. Grandad went away to a place they call a hospital and Mom was sick in bed here at home. I took care of Mom and made sure she was not cold. I also helped her to finish her food. After Mom got better, Granddad came home, but he could not walk. Mom spend all her time looking after Granddad and when she went out to fetch food I looked after him to make sure he was okay.
Well, I am here now. I took Mom for a walk this morning. It looked like her eyes were going to leak again. Since Dad and Granddad left Mom’s, eyes keep leaking. I try to lick away the water. Sometimes Mom starts laughing and we go outside and play. Sometimes I climb on Mom’s lap and I give her lots of cuddles. I don’t like it when mom’s eyes leak like that….
Mom said that I must get back to training, she told one of the people on that thing she takes the photos with when we are walking, that I had a very long school holiday (whatever that means). Mom also told me that if I behave, we can go on more walks this week. I like spending time with Mom, and I protect her from all other humans I don’t know.

Do I have some news for you. Mom told me that I must tell you all about my visit to the beach yesterday. So here goes….
Yesterday morning Mom woke me up very early. It was still dark outside and that big light in the sky was still switched off. Mom then put her face covering around her neck, and then she went into her office and got her camera bag. I call it I will be back soon bag. When she takes that bag I stay at home and Mom goes out by herself. She do give me treats though.
Mom and Dad called me and told me we are going to the beach. Beach????? I did not know what that is. Now I understand why Mom was putting stuff in the car and an blanket on the backseat the previous evening. I wondered why she put my bath towels, a water bowl and a bottle of water in the back of the car.
We drove for a very long time. When Mom stopped she went to the back of the car and took out her camera and Dad took me out of the car. Mom was walking one way and Dad took me in the opposite direction. I did not like that at all. I wanted to go to Mom. She climbed on to big stones and Dad told me that I am going to hurt myself if I go after Mom. I called her but she only came back a little while later. I was so worried I could not see her she just disappeared behind the big stones.
After a while we saw Mom again and she was taking photos of the water and all those big stones dad calls rocks. She showed Dad the back of her camera and said that she is finish and we can go. We got back in the car and I did not understand is this the beach? I did not understand what all the fuss was about. I did not even went for a proper walk.
Mom drove for a short while and then we got out again. Then I saw it…..
WOOOOFFSEEE what a big pool, everywhere you look is just water that come and greet you and run away again. I wonder why the water is afraid of me. There was also lots and lots of sand. Dad said I can dig as many holes as I want to here.
My first walk on the beach….
Dad took the movie of Mom and me playing in the water.
Mom said as soon as I listen to her when she calls me back and stop pulling and running off she will take my leash off and I can go play in the sand and water. But for now Mom says it is safer for me to be on the leash.
I gave Mom some proper exercise we ran in the water and when Mom and I turned to run back to Dad the water grabbed Moms foot and she fell down in the water, I pulled as hard as I could to save her from the water…. Mom got up and laughed she thought it was so funny. She told Dad that one moment there was sand the next moment nothing, just water.
Mom, Dad and I walked along the beach and then the sand started hurting us, Mom said it is broken shells and it can cut my paws and their feet. We turned around and went back to the car. Mom gave me some water in my bowl but I was not that thirsty but Mom insisted that I drink some and gave me some water in her hands. Then she took out my bath towels and dried me.
We got back in the car and we drove home. I was very tired and slept nearly all the way home.

OOOH goodness I am so tired….
It is just to much effort to sit up on the seat. I rather sit on the floor and use the seat as resting place for my head.
Yesterday afternoon Mom and Dad watched movies and I caught up on some lost sleep. Who would have thought that an early morning run and walk along the beach can make one so very tired.
At home…. What a morning….
