“When it comes to love relationships, often people think that they want a particular person. But if you think about it deeply, it is not really the particular person that they want. What they really want is to be blissfully happy with the perfect person. Yet still they try and tell the Universe WHO that person is. If the Universe isn’t delivering, then the message from the Universe is loud and clear: “I just checked twenty years ahead, and the bliss and happiness you deserve will not happen in this relationship.”
Why is it that we think we know more than The One who can see everything?”
~ Daily Teachings by Rhonda Byrne
I believe that everybody you meet and even have a relationship with is part of the plan the Universe has for you to grow and learn. No one knows what is going to happen tomorrow, one moment someone is in your life, and the next it is as if they never existed… In my case it works like that anyway.
The Universe knows what I want in my “perfect person and relationship”.
Have a fabulous day and remember life is short, live everyday as if there is no tomorrow.

The nights are getting to short for me. Every evening I get into bed and a hour later I am still tossing and turning. My mind is all over the place. Then when I fall asleep it feels like I only closed my eyes for a minute.
I feel like climbing back in bed and sleep the whole day. But it would be a shame to waste a day in bed.
It is such a beautiful day and according to the weather forecast we are going to be blown away and it is going to be a warm day, 27°C.
Delicious Monster
I mixed things up this morning. To wake up I went outside and water the garden. I forgot to do it yesterday evening. Then I made myself a nice cup of pomegranate infused Rooibos Tea and did my quiet time in my office.

Have a fantastic day. Remember to be grateful for all that you have even if it isn’t a lot.
Over the next few weeks, I am reading, The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz, and just give you a summary of what I read and how I understand it. I am just an ordinary person, and I find it interesting how different people see the world. This is not based on any typical religion. I hope you find it as interesting as I did. Please keep an open mind.
Domestication and the Dream of the Planet: Part 2
“Attention is the ability we have to discriminate and to focus only on that which we want to perceive.”
The Four Agreements by Don Migual Ruiz
Through repetition, the people hooked our attention and put information into our minds. By paying attention, we learned how to behave. What to believe and what not to. We have learned what is acceptable and what is not. What is good and bad. What is beautiful and what is ugly. We also learned the difference between right and wrong.
Everywhere we go, we listen to what the people are teaching us. The same happens in the family dynamic. Mom, Dad, brothers, and sisters are all trying to get your attention. We also learn how to get attention from other humans. We also become very competitive. Children seek the attention of their parents, teachers, and friends. The need for attention becomes very strong, and it never stops.
My thoughts on the above.
We are like sponges. We gather information in school, at Church, from our parents and friends. In the modern age we are also hooked by Television, Social Media and the Internet. We then decide what is acceptable for us. Every person has his or her own perception.
Children will do different things to get attention. They love the praise they get. Some parents even award their children with gifts or money. Others will resort to something wrong to get attention.
We as humans are very competitive and we would hurt others just to get noticed.
With all my heart, thank you for your continued support.
Have a Blessed day.

He was born in 1270, probably near Paisley, Renfrew, Scotland. He was a Scottish knight who became one of the main leaders during the First War of Scottish Independence.
Sir William Wallace is remembered for leading the Scottish resistance forces to free Scotland from English rule. Many of the stories about Wallace (which are not supported by documentary evidence) have been traced to a late 15th-century romance ascribed to Harry the Minstrel, or “Blind Harry.”
After his betrayal and capture, Wallace was taken to London, where he was tried. He was found guilty, hanged, disemboweled, beheaded, and quartered on 23rd August 1305.
Wallace’s death did not end Scotland’s Wars of Independence. Robert the Bruce continued the fight and achieved victory at the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314.
The William Wallace Statue was erected in 1888 in Aberdeen, Scotland, and depicts Sir William Wallace. William Grant Stevenson’s sculpture is positioned opposite His Majesty’s Theatre and across from Union Terrace Gardens.

Today I must finish the module I am busy studying. The first half was super boring. I hope today’s half is not that boring.
Over the next few weeks I am going to read The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz and just give you a summary of what I read and how I understand it. I am just a normal person and I find it interesting how different people see the world. This is not based on any typical religion. I hope you find it as interesting as I did. Please keep an open mind.
Below is the first few paragraphs of the next chapter. I tried to do a summary of it but then it will only say. Our whole life is just a dream and with Covid for some it’s a nightmare…
Domestication and the Dream of the Planet: Part 1
“What you are seeing and hearing right now is nothing but a dream. You are dreaming right now at this moment. You are dreaming with the brain awake. Dreaming is the main function of the mind, and the mind dreams twenty-four hours a day. It dreams when the brain is awake, and it also dreams when the brain is asleep. The difference is that when the brain is awake, there is a material frame that makes us perceive things in a linear way. When we go to sleep we do not have the frame, and the dream has the tendency to change constantly. Humans are dreaming all the time. Before we were born the humans before us created a big outside dream that we will call society’s dream or the dream of the planet. The dream of the planet is the collective dream of billions of smaller, personal dreams, which together create a dream of a family, a dream of a community, a dream of a city, a dream of a country, and finally a dream of the whole humanity. The dream of the planet includes all of society’s rules, its beliefs, its laws, its religions, its different cultures and ways to be. Its governments, schools, social events, and holidays.”
The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz
What do I think the author is trying to say to us? I find it difficult to put my thoughts on paper. It is all over the place right now. When I first read this book, I found this chapter confusing. Still do, but this is my thoughts on the above. We are awake and dreaming. Does dreaming refer to thinking? Even when I go to bed at night, my brain does not “switch off” I am always thinking. I get the weirdest dreams at night, I dream of places I have not even seen before or read about . Is that a dream within a dream? I do not always go with what society feels is the way to do things. Does this mean that my dream is different from societies? I also want to live in peace, I believe that respect and good manners are a important part of life. But when you look at the world a big part of humanity does not have respect or good manners?
I would love to hear some of your thoughts on this. Like I said I don’t think I really understand what the author is trying to say, but I am keeping an open mind.
With all my heart, thank you for your continued support.
It is a beautiful morning here in my garden with a cool breeze. According to the weather forecast it is going to be 24 °C.

I woke up this morning feeling tired. Buddy my Fox Terrier was very restless during the night. Around 4:40am this morning he started walking up and down. He goes outside then turn around and come inside again. He has 2 beds in the room. One by the door and the other one next to my bed. He keeps bumping into the furniture and every time I put on my light so that he can get to his bed. Not long after I switch off the light he gets out of bed and start walking around.
He is getting old and I know it is time for him to join his brother and Ruby, but it hurts so much just thinking about it.
On my To-Do List for today:
Take dad to renew the car license.
Take dad to the bank.
