Wishes do come true!

Good day friends,

I want to thank everyone for your support, prayers and encouragement over the past year.

I already told you that I have a very special person in my life. If somebody had told me a year ago that I would be with him today, I would have laughed in your face.

Both our lives changed unexpectedly over the last few months, and the universe thought it fit that after 33 years, we would be united again.

Our story began even before we were born. Our mothers were best friends for many years. Even though there was a considerable age difference between them, 20 years to be exact, they were the best of friends till the end.

I believe that today they are watching from Heaven with the biggest smiles on their faces. Their wish also came true…

I will tell our story as soon as I set up a new blog dedicated to our journey together.

In 14 days, I will be flying to Texas to visit him for two months. During this time I will explore and make notes of places I would like to see and get a feel for Texas. Who knows what the future holds for us?

New Beginnings

Good day everyone

Sorry for being so quiet. So much has happened since my last post.

December is a difficult month for me. As you all know Dad loved Christmas and everywhere I turn I am reminded of him. I put on a brave face but inside its a different story.

I have very exciting news though, I am going to America in January 2023.

Byers, Texas to be exact, and I am staying with someone very special to me. End of March 2023, I will be returning to South Africa and leave again the middle August 2023 for another three months.

Visa approved for 10 Years

I am very excited about this new chapter in my life. Feeling grateful and blessed. I never stopped believing that when two people are meant to be together they will end up together. No matter how many years go by. But more on this in a later post….

I still have a To-do list as long as an airport runway that needs to be done before I leave.

All different the different photography platforms and Apps have been installed on my laptop.

The photos for my flower book are backed up on an external hard drive. Although I won’t be able to edit it until I have sorted out my edit program. In the mean time I can still do my research and select the photos I want to use.

I had to set my camera settings to RAW and Jpg so that I can edit the jpg files so long for social media and my website.

It is going to be winter and the beginning of Spring in Texas when I am there. It makes packing easier.

Since I got my Visa I have been making lists and putting things in groups to be packed.

I am looking forward too this new beginning as a landscape and travel photographer and making myriads of new memories.

I will be back soon with some more updates on what is happening in my life….

Remember if you can dream it you can do it. Dreams do come true you must just keep believing…
