Making Picture-Perfect Memories for life
Myriad memories frozen in time
A while back I photographed this beautiful white Iris in our garden. I used my O – Flash attachment and I must say I am very happy with the results…. From now on I will certainly use it on a regular basis…
This was the second time I had the pleasure to capture the Heaton family. Last year we had a studio shoot and this year we decided on an outdoor shoot. Little Miss Angelique had a mind of her own but I had back up this time. My son’s came to help me carry props and holding reflectors. In the end Angelique just love Lian’s attention and when we wanted her attention Lian came to the rescue.
Mom and dad was ready for just one or two photo’s of her that we could use…. It’s hard work capturing toddlers they need to be stimulated the whole time and if you have their attention you better hit that shutter button like mad… You will not be dissappointed. Just as fast as you have their attention you lose it again. I took nearly 300 photo’s on their shoot and in the ended up with 68 photo’s that made the cut.
Please feel free to go and have a look at the Heaton Family shoot on my website.

We had breakfast at Die Pienk Padstal (The pink Farm stall) We spend more time here than we planned. There was just to much going on and we were afraid that we miss something. The food was divine and the best of all it did not cost you an arm and a leg. Decent food at decent prices. Will definitely go there again if I ever have the chance again.

We did not have breakfast at Azalea Guesthouse so we stopped at Akkerboom Farm stall for something to eat. Unfortunately they did not serve breakfast or food. You can buy all sorts of nicknacks at the farm stall and also the best Ginger Beer and Carrot Cake…. I will post some more photo’s of Akkerboom Farm stall when we revisited it a few days later.
Thank you for visiting my blog.

On our way to the Augrabies Falls National Park we drove past this cute little farm stall. Unfortunately it was closed but I loved the painted characters on the walls. Just had to stop and capture it.
