Think in the morning. Act in the noon. Eat in the evening. Sleep in the night.
The love of family and the admiration of friends is much more important than wealth and privilege.
You can’t fake it when you’re alone with God, you know.
I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do. I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do.
Robert A. Heinlein
Let my soul smile through my heart and my heart smile through my eyes, that I may scatter rich smiles in sad hearts.
For the time being I will only be posting my Ruby Tuesday photo’s over the weekend. I have so much work that I’ll have to prioritize.
I took this photo of Ruby on Tuesday morning when I took her outside.
Respect your efforts, respect yourself. Self-respect leads to self-discipline. When you have both firmly under your belt, that’s real power.
Something funny but in some cases very true….
A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend. A successful woman is one who can find such a man.
God didn’t make a mistake when He made you. You need to see yourself as God sees you.
There is nothing on this earth more to be prized than true friendship.
Deep in their roots, all flowers keep the light.
One of the most sincere forms of respect is actually listening to what another has to say.
Bryant H. McGill
Friends and good manners will carry you where money won’t go.
The hardest job kids face today is learning good manners without seeing any.
Oh my word people I was suppose to post on Tuesday already but it completely slipped my mind. I think I have to much going on at once….
Ruby is a my Guard dog where ever I go in the house she is only a few steps behind. I was busy getting all my props together and making sure my cards are clean and batteries charged for my Photo Shoot at Bekkies and Boudjies Daycare the following day. Ruby slipped into my studio and was lying very quietly waiting for me. I promised her we would go play ball as soon as I am finished. When I walked towards my studio door Ruby dashed passed me wagging tail and all… We played a bit and then I got back to editing…
Nobody can bring you peace but yourself.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong.
Because someday in your life you will have been all of these.
George Washington Carver
Throughout life people will make you mad, disrespect you and treat you bad. Let God deal with the things they do, cause hate in your heart will consume you too.
If you want to succeed you should strike out on new paths, rather than travel the worn paths of accepted success.
John D. Rockefeller
Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything beautiful, for beauty is God’s handwriting.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for.
God grant me the courage not to give up what I think is right even though I think it is hopeless.
Chester W. Nimitz
Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.
If you are really thankful, what do you do? You share.
W. Clement Stone
Age does not protect you from love. But love, to some extent, protects you from age.
We all have to live together, so we might as well live together happily.
This morning I took some portrait photo’s of Ruby with my Canon 50mm lens. Reason for this the camera is lighter and it is less strain on my right hand.
When my schedule is more open I’ll go for a operation to fix the problem.
I got this one by holding Ruby’s ball rust next to my lens.
The second one was more tricky to get. She kept jumping up and losing the grip on the ball. But we got one. So proud her.
I did not post a Ruby Tuesday post last week. Sorry for that. My right hand is suppose to rest and I’ll rather listen to the doctor this time. I need my hand to take lovely photo’s. I took this photo of Ruby on the Sunday. She went to play outside with Buddy our long legged Fox-terrier. The problem with her going outside to Buddy is the fishpond is like a magnet… Not even one minute passes and she went for a swim…
“Love is always bestowed as a gift – freely, willingly and without expectation. We don’t love to be loved; we love to love.”
Good day everyone,
I am very happy to inform you that my photography business is getting an make over….. From my home studio to my business cards. This includes my website, blog, pricing you name it it’s changing…. The only two things not changing is Me of course and my Logo. My logo was designed by my dear friend Jackie During so this will remain the same…
Now you are going to ask me what brought this on. Well it all started in August when I watched Sue Bryce and Kelly Brown on Creative Live. They presented a workshop on Bumps to Babies. These two ladies really opened my eyes up wide….. I learned allot and Sue Bryce gave us a 12 point Marketing strategy…. Oh my word I only do 4 of the 12 and I am not even doing these 4 100%. So from now to 23 January 2014 I will be working on these 12 Points. I would like to relaunch my “NEW” business 4 years after I’ve started officially as a Photographer on 24 January 2014.
This is so exciting and I can’t wait to get going… I have already started with my website and am very happy to say it’s linked to Picture Perfect Memories for life. My new website is http://www.coreenkuhnphotography.com and those of you here at Picture Perfect Memories for life will see that the site got a new look and I’ve added and changed some of the pages already. I want my site to be user friendly and one of these days I would like to reveal my genre…
Looking forward to sharing the changes with you all….
