This White-fronted Plover was hopping around on the rocks next to me. I took over 45 photo’s of this little guy. I really wish I can do more nature photography…

I had the pleasure to capture this beautiful lady a few weeks back.
Chantal Witthuhn (Mrs Cape Town 2013) helped with the styling of the shoot. I must say this shoot was allot of fun and I look forward to working with these two wonderful ladies again.

Sandbaai 2012:
One evening I decided to go and sit at some pools to see what is happening there… I sat for nearly 2 hours. It was so peaceful till the boys came to fetch me….

Armand my oldest came running in the door at the house. Shouting that I must come quickly Lian got hurt… They were playing and he hit his head against a rock…. Well Armand is not a very good liar and started giggling when he told me I must come but I must bring my camera…

We are still walking along the Coastal Path…
At Froggy Pond you can hear the frogs but they are very hard to find. The first time I found the Froggy Pond I only took photo’s of all the things surrounding the pond. I took my husband with to the pond a few days later and he caught a little frog for me to photograph. So watch this space for that photo’s….

Sandbaai 2012:
We are still walking along the Coastal Path… On the paths there are little cement blocks with sayings on it. It makes the walk very interesting. I am trying to put the names of the flowers with the photo’s where I can. I only have 3 flower books at this stage still busy building my collection…
Hermanus 2012:
When we go on holiday in Hermanus/Sandbaai my favorite place is the Coastal Path. It stretches from Sandbaai to Vermont.

My name will not be Coreen Kuhn if I don’t capture a flower or two a day while on holiday. Some times it’s all that I even focus on. I love flowers and are busy learning the different species. This is taking some time though.

Playing with some sticks. Much more difficult than it looked
The boys came to me out of breath and asked me if they could each have a dog. My first reaction was no we have 4 at home we do not have space for more. They then told me but they will not be in my way and they won’t even bark or need to be potty trained…. I was still not convinced that they would look after the dogs. Then all three nephews began laughing out loud. They got me nice and it was not even April fools day. Just then we got to the SPCA’s stall and there was the dogs the boys wanted. I bought them each a dog and told them for the rest of the holiday they better take good care of them and they must take them for walks and also “feed” them.
