Hope you all had a good nights rest. I slept like a baby last night. I woke up only once when the wind was trying to blow my house down…. Only a joke the wind was very angry last night.
Willow is not very happy because I don’t let her roam freely outside. It takes a lot of time out of my day trying to get her cleaned up after her mud baths outside. If she was just playing in the water standing on the paving it would be fine, but she dug herself a nice mudhole.
It is freezing outside and the wind is extra cold this beautiful Winters morning. According to the weather forecast we are having another very cold, wet and windy day. A maximum temperature of 14°C is predicted.

” A garden should be in a constant state of fluid change, expansion, experiment, adventure; above all, it should be an inquisitive, loving, but self-critical journey on the part of its owner.” ~HE Bates
Thank you very much for taking the time to join me in exploring our garden.
All of us have negative thoughts, and these negative thoughts are holding us back. Let’s try to live a more positive life by changing the way we think.
As soon as you think….
“I see many problems here.”
Change your way of thinking to….
“I see many opportunities to improve here.”
Thank you with all my heart for stopping by. Thank you for your continued support. I am truly grateful for every view, like, follow and comment.

Day 5: 15 August 2019: Exploring Inverness – Part 3
I tried to find some information on Ladies Walk and the War Memorial, but there is not much.
Dad and I walked until we reached the War Memorial. We then crossed the bridge over the Ness River to continue our walk. It was a cool evening and we were starting to get hungry and decided to search for a restaurant or pup for dinner.
I took some photos along the way. If I had the time I would have stayed longer and walked further down the river, but it was getting late and we still had to walk back to the guesthouse after dinner.

Thank you very much for taking the time to join me on my travels through Scotland. I hope you enjoyed it just as much as I did.
You’re the key to my life… Rain on the window covers the trace Of all the tears that I’ve had to waste And now I’m missing you so And I won’t let you go away Stain on the desktop where coffee cups lay And memories of you forever will stay And the scent of your perfume And the smile on your face will remain… And I never gave up hope when things got me down But I just bit on my lip and my face began to frown Cos that was just my pride and I’ve nothing else to hide And now the way is clear and all I want to say is. All of my life the doors have been closed now And all of my dreams have been locked up inside But you came along and captured my heart, girl You’re the key to my life Yeah Year after year, was blaming myself (blaming myself.) For what I’d done, just thought of myself I know that you’ll understand (you’ll understand…) This was all my own fault, don’t go away. And I never gave up hope when things got me down But I just bit on my lip And my face began to frown Cos that was just my pride and I’ve nothing left to hide And now the way is clear and all I want to say is…
All of my life the doors have been closed now And all of my dreams have been locked up inside But you came along and captured my heart, girl You’re the key to my life
Girl you know that I feel for you There ain’t nothing that I wouldn’t do Stop the thunder and the pouring rain You’re the one that’s going to stop the pain Girl you know that I feel for you There ain’t nothing that I wouldn’t do Stop the thunder and the pouring rain Listen to me can’t you hear what I say…
All of my life the doors have been closed now And all of my dreams have been locked up inside But you came along and captured my heart, girl You’re the key to my life

Hope you all had a good nights rest. I slept like a log. Only woke up for the first time just after 6:00am. Got back into bed and slept till Willow came to cuddle at 7:20am.
I got out of bed, got dressed, took the trash out and then started putting the soup in containers for freezing. Gave the 4 legged children food and water and then started on the dishes and washed the Slow cooker for the next round of soup for freezing. Today I am cooking Beef, Samp and Bean soup. Dad loves it. So far I made Chicken and Vegetable Soup on Saturday, Beef Soup and Vegetable Soup on Sunday and Yesterday I made Four in One Soup. We freeze it for dad for lunch.
It is freezing cold and everything is wet. I love the winter but with Willow it is very difficult. She loves water and to keep her dry is a full time job. I have to lock her indoors now and only take her outside under supervision. The floors look like we had a mud storm inside…. In the beginning I had the mop in hand constantly. Now I just leave it and clean it up with the broom when it gets dry. It is much easier and not so messy.
According to the weather forecast we are having very very cold, wet and windy day.. A maximum temperature of 13°C is predicted.
Wet Wet WetWet outside
The passage where Willow and I play ball got flooded yesterday. It is still wet this morning. Making it unsafe for Willow to run because it is very slippery. We tried it and she slipped and hit the gate hard. Now I have to get something else to keep her busy….
Wet passage making playing fetch difficult. It is slippery… Where we play fetch.

Girl, when I look at you You look through me like I’m not even there I’m trying not to give up To be strong but I’m afraid to say I’m scared I can’t find the place your heart is hiding And I’m no quitter but I’m tired of fighting
Baby I love you Don’t want to lose you Don’t make me let you go Took such a long time for me to find you Don’t make me let you go Baby, I’m begging please And I’m down here on my knees I don’t want to have to set you free Don’t make me
What if when I’m long gone it dawns on you, you just might want me back? Let me make myself clear If I leave here its done, I’m gone, that’s that
You carry my love around Like it’s a heavy burden I’m about to take it back Are you sure it’s worth it?

“You might have figured out by now that with any magical practice of gratitude the aim is always to feel it as much as you can. This is because when you increase the feeling of gratitude on the inside, the things you have to be grateful for in the outside world increase too.
Eventually, after practicing gratitude for a long period of time, you will automatically feel it deeply in your heart. However, today’s magical practice will collapse the time it would normally take for you to reach that level.
The Heart Magic practice is designed to powerfully increase the depths that you feel gratitude, by focusing your mind on the area of your heart as you say and feel the magic word, thank you. Scientific research has shown that by focusing on your heart as you feel gratitude, the rhythm of your heart immediately becomes much more even and harmonious, resulting in major improvements to your immune system and health. That gives you an idea of the power of Heart Magic. It takes a little practice the first time you try it, but it is worth the effort. After a few times you will get it, and each time you practice it your feeling of gratitude will increase exponentially.
To practice Heart Magic, focus your mind and our attention on the area around your heart. It doesn’t matter if you focus on the inside or the outside of your body. Close your eyes, because it will make it easier, and while keeping your mind focused on your heart mentally say the magic words, thank you. Once you’ve practiced it a few times, you won’t need to close your eyes anymore, but as a general rule, you will feel more gratitude when you close your eyes….”
Rhonda Byrne, The Magic
This week’s activity hit the nail on the head. My heart does need some magic for sure.
To feel grateful very deeply will not happen overnight. It will take a lot of practice, and depending from person to person the periods will differ.
Put your right hand on the area around your heart, close your eyes, keep your focus on your heart, and say the magic words, thank you.
Take your Top Ten Desire List and practice Heart Magic by reading each desire, close your eyes, focusing on your heart and say, thank you. Do this for all ten desires.

Hope you all had a good nights rest. I woke up with a bang around 3:45am. When I say bang I mean a very loud bang. I still have no idea what it was but the wind was howling. The cowl on the chimney sounds like it is spinning and it is taking off any moment….
Well from today on we are back on adjusted level 4 lockdown until 11 July 2021. Not that my routine will change or be affected at all. Until I receive the vaccine I will stay put.
I love learning a new skill, and after two hours of learning Gaelic my throat is very sore. I am at a stage now where I can write and translate from English to Gaelic, vise versa on paper or on the screen. With every lesson I learn new phrases and words. I am very excited about my progress. Working towards my future in Scotland….
Yes, you read correctly paper. I have a book and colored pens. I find it easier to learn how to spell a word while writing it down and practicing it. The computer screen and on screen lessons is fantastic, but for my brain to process and take it in properly I have to write it down and read it back to me. Technology is great, but nothing beats pen and paper.
According to the weather forecast we are having a cold, wet and windy day. A maximum temperature of only 12°C, heavy rain, and strong winds is predicted. I have to do laundry today, but I am thinking of leaving it for tomorrow. Oh well I will still see how I feel later.

First I fed the 4 legged and feathered children. Up next was dad’s breakfast.
Then I started in the kitchen. I cleaned and diced the beetroot and then pickled them.
After the beetroot I started blending the chicken soup to make sure that dad don’t choke on the pieces. Then I put it in containers to freeze. He eat soup for lunch. I feel home made soup is much healthier than instant soup.
I started with the beef soup. But now I have to go do the dishes before I start with my Gaelic lesson.
