You will see that the Hallo… Post has changed a bit. I am going to give all the pets a chance. Charlie had enough for now. Today it is Poplap’s turn. Because they are confined most of the photo’s looks the same. I am trying to mix it up a bit to keep it interesting.
I would like you to meet Poplap, our Eastern Rosella. He is a very feisty little guy. He loves dancing and starts singing and making noises when he hears me or my son.
Willow have been a very good girl this week. I think she realizes that we do have our play times and the rest of the time she is sleeping either on the bed or next to the bed on a blanket.
The Braai Room is off limits to her on days it is raining a lot. She puts her front paws and face into the buckets and then she blows bubbles. When she comes inside everything is wet… I must replace the roof of the Braai Room but I must first save up enough money to buy all the materials needed to do it.
Willow is a bit frustrated today. It has been 4 days since she can roam free. Due to the rain, I had to keep her indoors and only take her outside supervised. She loves water, which makes it hard to keep the house clean and dry.
Willow loves to take mud baths. When she gets a gap, she will go and play in the mud. It is a very messy affair. I see that it will only be cloudy today Willow and I can go play outside later.
Willow has also found the toilet brush, and she carries it around everywhere. I have to lock the bathroom now. She also found out if you pull on the toilet paper roll it the paper comes with you… I forgot to take a photo of it friends, so sorry.
Poor Willow is very confused today. She is being kept on the other side of the house. She can go to Granddad, but mom is in her office working, and there are unknown men in our home. They are installing the fiber today.
Willows training is going great. She has mastered paw giving and now she wants to do it all the time.
She loves pasta, rice, eggs, apple, banana and orange. I have to put the fruit up high so that she can’t get to it, because she help herself to apples.
I started training her to get into the car and then we go for drives. When I have to go drop off something at a client or pick up something I take her with. As soon as the weather is better I will go on longer drives and walks. She gets super excited when I have her leash in my hands.
On the Shadow and Willow front. Shadow has started moving around in the house. But as soon as he hears Willow he gets up high.
It’s been a month since I adopted Willow. She has settled in nicely and brings us so much joy. She is 9 months now.
This week she started giving her paw when you ask for it. One down many to go. She sit and give paw on orders. We are still working on the fetch. Now I want to start on training her to lie down on demand.
I have found that Willow do have a will of her own. When she feels like playing fetch she will bring the ball to me or throw the ball at my feet. We play ball in the passage outside.
She loves running around in the garden and entertaining herself with her toys.
