Taking a short break to recharge my batteries.

Good day friends,

Over the past few months I have found that I am not as focused as I always was. I feel tired and drained. It all started when I had that nasty kidney infection and my blood pressure went through the roof and I was on bedrest for more than a week.

Since then I tried not to work to late or start to early in the morning, but in the end I fell behind on my edit work which resulted in my daily posts also falling behind due to a lack of photos. The things I used to love doing was becoming tasks and not fun anymore. For example doing research and identifying birds, animals and flowers.

I have not been making much progress with my Gaelic lessons the past two weeks, I need silence and no distractions when I am studying and at the moment that is not happening. My two hour lessons have become 30 minute lessons. I just do what I need to. This morning I came to the conclusion that the new work I did learn over the past two weeks did not stick. I tried to do a test and nothing stuck…. 😭 I draw a blank… Another reason to take a break and recharge.

This is why I decided that I need to take a short break from blogging, social media and any studies. I will only be focusing on relaxing and playing with Willow. When I feel like it I will do some editing

I did schedule some posts in advanced so my blog will not come to a halt.

If all goes well I will be on my post, recharged and ready for action on Monday 9 August 2021.

With all my heart, thank you for your ongoing support and taking the time to read my post. I am truly grateful for every view, like, follow, and comment I receive.

Please stay safe and healthy.

  1. Understood. I have been having similar feelings, the sense of spinning my wheels and not getting anything done. Maybe its something in the air? I think you are right in planning ahead, as if you were going on a vacation where there was no internet. See you on the 9th. 🙂
