“A thankful person is thankful under all circumstances.” ~Baha’u’llah
“Are you grateful to be alive each day? Or do you take your life for granted?
Taking things for granted results in complaining, negative thoughts and words. So when you complain, by the law of attraction, you must bring more things into your life to complain about!
If you’re complaining about the weather, the traffic, your boss, your spouse, your family, a friend, a stranger, waiting in lines, bills, the economy, the cost of something, or the service of a company, you are not being grateful, and you’re pushing your dream life further away with every complaint.
Now you understand that complaining, negative thoughts and words, and taking things for granted stops the good things in your life. Now you understand that when something goes very wrong you have unintentionally not been grateful enough.
It’s impossible to be negative when you’re grateful. It’s impossible to criticize and blame when you’re grateful. It’s impossible to feel sad or have any negative feeling when you’re grateful. And the best news is that if you have any negative situations in your life currently, it won’t take a long period of time to transform then with gratitude. The negative situations will disappear in a puff of smoke – just like magic!
First, as difficult as it may be, you have to look for things to be grateful for in the negative situation. No matter how bad things are, you can always find something to be grateful, especially when you know that your gratitude will transform every negative circumstance.”
The Magic by Rhonda Byrne
Do you have a problem or negative situation in your life that you would want to resolve? I sure do. Now take that problem or situation and look for ten things to be grateful for. In future try to always find the good in a bad situation. I know it is difficult, and sometimes it feels like everything is going wrong all at once. But a few years down the line you will see that everything happens for a reason. It is the Universe trying to steer you in the right direction. So be grateful for your life, even if it is not perfect.
“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so , let us all be thankful.” ~Guatama Buddha

“If you want to attract appreciation for what you do, then move through your life appreciating and complimenting others.
If you find fault with another, then you just brought others finding fault with you. If you judge another, then you just brought judgment to you. And if you appreciate others, you will bring appreciation to you. You have to make the quality dominant in you first, before you can attract it in your outside world“

Over the next few months, I am reading, The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. Some days I will Quote a page or just give you a summary of what I read and how I understand it. I am just an ordinary person, and I find it interesting how different people and cultures see the world. This is not based on any typical religion. I hope you find it as interesting as I did. Please keep an open mind.
The Third Agreement: Don’t Make Assumptions – Part 6
“Often when you go into a relationship with someone you like, you have to justify why you like that person. You only see what you want to see and you deny there are things you don’t like about that person. You lie to yourself just to make yourself right. Then you make assumptions, and one of the assumptions is. “My love will change this person.” But it is not true. Your love will not change anybody. If others change, it’s because they want to change, not because you can change them. Then something happens between the two of you, and get hurt. Suddenly you see what you didn’t want to see before, only now it is amplified by your emotional poison. Now you have to justify your emotional pain and blame them for your choices.
We don’t need to justify love; it is there or not there. Real love is accepting other people the way they are without trying to change them. If we try to change them, this means we don’t really like them. Of course, if you decide to live with someone, if you make that agreement, it is always better to make that agreement with someone who is exactly the way you want him or her to be. Find someone whom you don’t have the change at all. It is much easier to find someone who is already the way you want him or her to be, instead of trying to to change that person. Also that person must love you just the way you are, so he or she doesn’t have to change you at all. If others feel they have to change you, that means they really don’t love you just the way you are. So why be with someone if you’re not the way he or she wants you to be?”

“If you take any activity, any art, any discipline, any skill – take it and push it as far as it will go, push it beyond where it has ever been before, push it to the wildest edges of edges, then you force it into the realm of magic.” ~ Tom Robbins
“How can it be that a person who is born into total poverty, starts out with nothing, and has very little education goes and become a president or a celebrity, or builds an empire and becomes one of the wealthiest people in the world? And how is it that two people can start out the same career, and yet one person’s career goes from success to ever greater success, while the other person works himself or herself into the ground, with little success, no matter how hard they try? The missing link to success is gratitude, because according to the law of attraction you have to be grateful for what you have to attract success to you. So without gratitude, it’s impossible to have permanent success.
To bring success or increase the good things in your job or work, like opportunities, promotions, money, brilliant ideas, inspirations and appreciation, it is essential to be grateful for your job or work. The more gratitude you have, the more you will have to be grateful for! And you should be getting the idea by now that to increase anything in your life, you have to be grateful for what you already have.
When you are grateful for your job, you will automatically give more to your work, and when you give more to your work, you will increase the money and success that is returned to you. If you are not grateful for your job, you will automatically give less. When you give less you decrease what comes back to you, and as a result, you will never be happy in your work, you will never give more than you have to, and your job or work will stagnate and eventually deteriorate, which could mean losing your job. Remember, for those who do not have gratitude, even what they have will be taken from them.”
The Magic by Rhonda Byrne
Even if you are not in your ideal work environment or you don’t have your dream job yet you must always be grateful. I know and I talk out of experience. When you are not grateful and only have negative thoughts and feelings it only gets worst. As soon as you realize how blessed you are to have a job, colleagues and equipment to do your job, you will start see the things changes around you. You will become happier.
