A few months before Dudley’s matric farewell his mother phoned and asked if it would be okay if is best friends are included in the photo shoot. My answer was the more the merrier….
It was a very busy afternoon but we had a ball….

Robert and his partner for the dance is best friends. We did their Matric Farewell shoot at Joostenberg Bistro on the R304. I just love this venue for my shoots. So many different and natural “backdrops” to choose from.

My mother and I used to look after DJ when he was still in primary school. Just look at him now all grown up and ready to face the big world outside school walls….

The original plan for Zaide’s Matric Farewell shoot was to go to a farm on the Bottelary road, but unfortunately they ran late and we had to improvise.
I ended up taking some photo’s in a neighbours garden and in the driveway a few houses down the road. The wind was also acting up and we had to make it a quick session.

I Totally forgot to post my photo of the day yesterday. With hubby not here I don’t sleep so well and I think it’s starting to affect my mind…. Rather late than never….
When I took this photo I knew I was going to love it. I like the cloud of mist hanging in the air. But what I don’t like was the smell. It smelled like Anesthesia. Jig and I hate that smell to be honest I hate the smell of hospitals….
Just look at him he is a real gentleman. The grass was soggy and before she knew it he swooped her up in his arms and took her to the next photo stop. I just love this photo of them. All natural smiles even their eyes are laughing with…..
WOW today”s Matrick farewell was very emotional. I saw Chantè for the first time when she was only 10 months old. Today was her Matric Farewell and she took my breath away. Let the photo do the talking…..
Well today I am feeling a bit better but my blood sugar is still on the low side. But that did not get in the way of today’s Matric Farewell photo shoot.
All that I am going to say today about this shoot is that our Heavenly Father looks after His children. It’s been raining the whole day and I prepared my studio as a plan B. But the couple did not want to change from plan A to B so off I went to Joostenberg Bistro to find out if I could take photo’s inside. Unfortunately they were busy closing so I went to the car and wait. While I waited I asked our Heavenly Father for 20 minutes of no rain after that it can come down in buckets I don’t care.
When Ruan and Samantha arrived it stopped raining and God gave me 20 minutes of no rain after the 20 minutes it started coming down very softly but I could still take some photo’s. When I got back in the car and said thank you the rain came down hard. As soon as I am finished with the shoot I will reveal Sam’s beautiful dress and Ruan’s awesome tie…
This is just a random photo I picked of today. Will work through the photo’s while on holiday in Hermanus. Must clean memory cards and charge batteries for tomorrows Matric Farewell….
