Good morning friends

It was cold and rainy on Saturday, and we had load shedding again! Shocking I know…

I made a fire in the fireplace to help with the cold and because I love looking at the flames dancing. After a while I took a few slow-motion photos with my Samsung Galaxy 22.

Because I was bored and curious about how to make a video on TikTok, I decided why not try it.

I opened my TikTok account about two years ago and only watched, liked, and shared videos. Two years later, I made a short video clip and posted it.

I want to start sharing my photos on TikTok as well. Later, when I am more comfortable, I will add my stories behind the shot in voice-overs.

Vlogging is not my thing. Unlike my mentors, I would rather stay behind the scenes and concentrate on becoming a better Travel, landscape, and Nature photographer. Who knows, maybe one day, I will step out of my comfort zone and start making videos and posting them on YouTube.

Good morning everyone

It has been raining, and we had thunder ⚡ the whole night. We arrived in the pitch dark with heavy rain.

When we woke up this morning we had this beautiful view.

I am genuinely grateful that I can travel through Texas and see all the beautiful landscapes and towns. I must admit that some of the towns do look like it is busy falling apart but for me, that just add more character to it.

My list of places and towns to visit is getting very long.

We stopped for dinner and to fill the truck before we continued to our destination .

We made it to our destination just outside of Rio Vista. It was a wet and windy journey but we are safe.

I tried capturing photos with my Canon and telephoto lens while driving but most of the photos came out blurry. Not due to the speed we traveled but the way the truck shook. I could not keep the camera steady enough.

Christo bought me a phone so that I can stay in touch with my loved ones at home. I am very happy with it and the camera is fantastic and I am enjoying playing around with all the settings.
