Was it just coincidence?

If you go back a few posts I talked about visiting The Two Oceans Aquarium in the Victoria Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town.

Well I am busy editing the photos, yes I know it’s been a while back but life is very busy on this end…

I came across these photos of the octopus and remembered how it moved along with my boyfriend. When he stood closer to the glass the Octopus also moved towards the glass. He then started moving his finger around against the glass the Octopus followed his finger with his one tentacle. It was very entertaining. When we moved on to the next exhibit we were talking about it and I am still wondering if it was a coincidence….

Weekly Photo Challenge: Everyday Life

This morning Hubby took me on an outing to Blaauwberg. Here are some more everyday life scenes.

Every day people need to clean up our streets….

Okay I believe in job creation. But oh my goodness just look at the mess people make. Ā Why do the local municipalities even bother putting dustbins all along the sidewalk?

“As people alive today, we must consider future generations: a clean environment is a human right like any other. It is therefore part of our responsibility toward others to ensure that the world we pass on is as healthy, if not healthier, than we found it.”Ā Dalai LamaĀ

Everyday someone is cleaning our beaches…

This is so sad. Can’t people keep their bottle or paper in their beach bag or in their hand till they find a dustbin…

Everyday someone is filling up their vehicle with fuel or diesel…
Every day we spend time with friends either together or keeping in touch with different communication mechanisms.
Every day ships are sailing in and out of harbors….
Every day there are someone working on a ship….

For some of the local residents of Britstown theĀ horse cartĀ is part of their everyday life way of commuting.

Tomorrow I am heading for the streets to see what I can capture …
