The Word a week this week is Dawn. For more information on this challenge please visit the blog A word in your ear
I took the following photo’s on our road trip in June/July 2010. My parents, the boys and I hit the road for 5 weeks while my hubby was working. We called our tour the World Cup Tour. Everybody went from province to province to follow the soccer games. We went from province to province to do some sight seeing and visiting dear friends….
Every time we went to our next destination we woke up before dawn and hit the road. We saw the sun coming up in allot of different places and each time it was spectacular….
I took these photo’s with my Canon 500D and back then I did not shoot RAW but JPG. Since then I’ve converted and only shoot in RAW.
I still have a lot more photo’s on Dawn that I took on other vacations with my family… Will share all these photo’s in the future as soon as everything is edited. This girl can’t stop when I start pushing that shutter button there are no end only if all my memory cards are filled up for the day….. Looking forward in sharing my travels with you…

During the 2010 Soccer World Cup held here in South Africa my hubby sent me and the boys on our own World Cup Tour. Together with my parents we visited allot of little towns. These photo’s was taken on the first part of our tour. We were away from home for 5 weeks and I never took less than 500 photo’s a day. Some days I took over 1500 photo’s. Add that all up and you get to many to count haha. I am still busy editing my World Cup Tour photo’s as I have a spare minute here and there.
When I am finished with all the photo’s and gathered all my notes and pamphlets I want to start writing a series of blogs on the different towns and places we visited on our tour. Luckily my memory is very good and as I go through my photo’s I can remember to the T what happened. That is the best part of capturing your holidays with thousands and thousands of photo’s…
