Good morning everyone
I hope you slept well. I had a busy night was up a lot. A bit tired this morning because of fighting off the mosquitoes. We sleep with the fan on at night to keep us cool and to keep mosquitoes away. We had loadshedding from 4 to 6 this morning and the mosquitoes taking advantage of the situation.
It has been raining since around 3:00am this morning. I just love the sound and smell of rain.
I had to go put out the buckets in the kitchen at around 4:00am this morning when it really started coming down. Somewhere the roof is leaking and I have to get someone out to have a look. So many people has said they will have a look but I am still waiting. My buckets have increased from 3 small ones to whole row of them. I am afraid of hights but I am thinking of going up there and have a look for myself.
It is a beautiful day today. According to my Weather App it’s going to be 24°C and cloudy. Perfect weather for mid summer I think.
This morning I am having my quiet time on my comfy chair in my office.
Day 3 of my 28 days of Gratitude. Today I must get 3 photos of people I have relationships with. It can be your partner, a friend or a family member. On a piece of paper write 5 things that you are grateful for in that person. For example: Thank you, dad, for always supporting me. Thank you, Lucy, for your kindness… During the day look at the persons photo and say thank you, name.
If you are doing the 28 days of gratitude with me remember to repeat Day 1 and 2 till the end of the 28 days. If you want to you can repeat todays excerise also for the remainder of the 28 days.
Thank you for your ongoing support. Have a fantastic Saturday and remember to be grateful for the people in your life.

Good morning,
I hope you had a good nights rest, and for those of you that are still awake that you had a great day.
It is a beautiful cool morning with a light drizzle. According to the weather forecast we are having a cooler day today only 24°C.
I can’t do my quiet time in the garden this morning, but I am so grateful for the rain. The garden and I welcome it with open arms.
This morning I must take dad to get a Covid19 test done. He is going for a colonoscopy and gastroscopy on Tuesday and before he can be admitted they need a Covid test done.
Later today we are having loadshedding so no electricity between 12:00pm and 02:30pm. This gives me the opportunity to read and color.
Today is day 2 in my 28 days of Gratitude. Feel free to join me on my Journey to make Gratitude a part of my life like breathing.
It is funny how fast one can get into a habit of noticing everything and everyone around you and saying thank you. Yesterday while walking to the shop, I realized how lucky I am to have have a shop just around the corner of me. The security guard on duty was extra friendly today. To be honest I never even noticed him in the past.
Day 2: In the morning write down another 10 things you are grateful for and the reason why. Afterwards read it again and after you finished each one say Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Look for a smooth rock that will fit comfortably in the palm of your hand. This is your gratitude rock. Place it by your bedside and tonight when you go to bed take the gratitude rock hold it tight in your hand and think about all the things that happened during the day that made you grateful. Single out one that means the most to you and say Thank you. Repeat this for the next 26 days.
Have a wonderful Friday filled with gratitude and laughter. If you are on your way to bed have a peaceful nights rest.
