Oh, my word friends, Armand and I walked to the shop 350 meters from home yesterday. I have no idea why but I just could not walk at a snail’s pace, and I ended up paying the price on our way back. I know it is the first time I walked this far after the accident but my goodness it was only 700 meters on flat surface.

I can’t remember that it was this painful at 17 when I tore my hamstring and ligaments…. Yes, yes, I am 31 years older I know…. Oh well, I will just have to be patient and take it one day at a time….

Well, these days I have the tendency to do some online shopping with the eyes only luckily. I always wanted a Ford Ranger truck, but I am not that big and for my line of work I do need a 4×4 but not a bulky one. One of my friends told me that he thought a Jimny would be perfect for me and yesterday Morné confirmed that it would be ideal for me. So, I went on the Suzuki website to see how they look.

I must say I kind of love it. The cost for entry level Jimny is R326 900. For some people this won’t be a lot of money, but at this stage it is a lot for me. My dad never believed in buying second hand vehicles. He said you only buy the previous owner’s problems…. And I agree with him. I only had second hand vehicles my whole life and I always paid more for repairs than I paid for the vehicle. What to do?

When I changed my Photography Genre to Landscape and Travel Photography, I knew I would eventually get a 4×4 to get to all the places I want to be. Last night I did some thinking and I decided that I will buy myself a Birthday Persent for 2023. This gives me some time to save up and maybe I will get a discount if I pay cash. I also don’t want to worry about a monthly premium. What do you guys think?

According to the weather forecast, we are having a lovely warm Autumn Day. With a minimum temperature of 12°C, a maximum temperature of 25°C and winds up to 13 km/h.
