Good day friends,

Hope everyone had a good night’s rest. If you are only going to bed now or a bit later, wishing you a peaceful night’s rest. I slept like a log. Second night in a row that I did not dream. I went to bed after 11:00pm last night and I woke up at 5:40am this morning.

Oh, my word what a busy morning so far. I got up before 6:00am, l to see if dad needs anything. He was still fine. I tested his sugar, it was perfect, then I gave him something for the pain and for the phlegm. Made him a cup of coffee, sorted his pills for the morning, and gave him fresh water in his bottle.

I then rubbed his sore foot with my concoction. Arnica Oil, Voltaren gel and Deep Heat. It seems to be working because dad is moving his foot more and more and he is also able to put some weight on it. Making moving him from bed to chair much easier. I prepared his breakfast after he had a 45min nap and made sure he drinks his medication.

While dad was having his nap, I packed out the dishwasher, reload it and switched it on again. I then washed the rest of the dishes that can’t go into the dishwasher. Threw out the trash, water in the kitchen bucket (we collect the water we use to rinse the fruit, vegetables and glasses).

Tonight, we are having our own little Christmas by exchanging gifts. We will have the Christmas Feast as soon as Dad can come and join us all outside under the Gazebo.

It is a warm but beautiful morning in the garden.

According to the weather forecast, we are having another scorcher today. With a maximum temperature of 35°C and winds up to 28 km/h.
