Good day friends,

Hope everyone had a good night’s rest. If you are only going to bed now or a bit later, wishing you a peaceful night’s rest.

I got up at 5:10 AM this morning. On Friday I decided to visit Botterblom Nature Reserve today to kick off my Parks and Nature Reserves Project for 2022.

It was a beautiful cool morning with no wind at all. When I got to Botterblom, I walked around to see what was new and interesting. The park is very dry and even the pond’s water level has dropped significantly. I did not spot any of the Red Knobbed Coots and the Egyptian Geese wasn’t there either. The only birdlife I saw was the Helmeted Guinea fowl families and some Sparrows and Weavers.

I started a second project today. I am going to photograph the same tree monthly for 1 year. I have Second tree in mind, but I will capture it on Wednesday morning.

According to the weather forecast, we are having a hot day. With a maximum temperature of 29°C and winds up to 28 km/h.

Update on Dad

Visited Dad this morning. His doctor is back from leave and visited him this morning. They changed his medicine again. Hopefully with Dr Theron back they will get things sorted now.

I would like to thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes for Dad. We really appreciate it. He is on the mend and it is due to all the healing vibes everyone sends him.
