Good Day: 13 January 2022

Good day friends,

Hope everyone had a good night’s rest. If you are only going to bed now or a bit later, wishing you a peaceful night’s rest.

It is a beautiful warm morning outside with a slight breeze. Today is going to be very hot and I will be hiding indoors.

Today will be my first birthday since Dad went on pension that we won’t go out for tea and cake to celebrate it. Instead, I will go visit him in hospital. Oh well I’ll just add it to the list of things we must do as soon as Dad is strong enough.

Still waiting for the sugarbirds….
Strawberry, Mint and Habanero plants doing great.
Peace Lilly adapting nicely to her new spot.
Our Garden

According to the weather forecast, we are having a scorcher today. With a maximum temperature of 36°C and winds up to 25.200 km/h.

Update on Dad

I visited Dad yesterday afternoon, he is looking great and full of jokes. They are still trying to figure out the best combination and dosage of his medicines. His feet keep swelling and they need to get that under control. Dad’s Blood sugar was high yesterday and now they must try to get it back to normal again.

Dad told me that he can’t walk properly without assistance, his legs feels like jelly. When Dad comes home, he will be staying with me for a while until he is strong enough to be on his own again.

I would like to thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes for Dad. We really appreciate it. He is on the mend and it is due to all the healing vibes everyone sends him.

On my To Do List for today

  • Visit Dad
  • Write Bloganuary post
  • Gaelic Lesson
  • Prepare Dinner Maybe….

Thank you for all your support and for taking the time to look at my posts. I am truly grateful for every view, like, and comment I receive.

Have a fantastic day.
