Good Day: 3 January 2022

Good day friends,

Hope everyone had a good nights rest. If you are only going to bed now or a bit later, wishing you a peaceful nights rest.

It is a beautiful morning outside. The sun is shining and there is a fresh breeze in the air. Today Morné and Lian start working. It is also back to normal for me today, writing posts, edit doing laundry and looking after the four legged children. Morné took care of everything while I was recovering from the pneumonia. I am still taking it easy though.

Snuffels, dad’s dog has been so sad and for the past few days I opened my safety gate in the morning and let him in my house. In the evenings I take him back to Dad’s flat. The first day he marked everything, and I cleaned up after him. Since then he has been very good. When I am sitting at my desk he is sleeping on the doggy bed I put down for him.

Update on Dad

I did not visit Dad this morning. I did phone to find out how he is doing.

The nurse told me that dad had a peaceful night. Dad’s HB levels has dropped again and they are giving him 2 bags of blood today. I asked her what the problem can be and she told me that she has no idea. If I don’t get the chance to go to the hospital today, I will phone back later to find out how Dad is doing.

I would like to thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes for Dad. We really appreciate it. He is not out of the woods yet but we are getting there.

According to the weather forecast, we are having a beautiful cloudy and windy Summers day. With a maximum temperature of 24°C and winds up to 39.600 km/h.
