Making Picture-Perfect Memories for life
Myriad memories frozen in time
Thanks for all the camera setting details. I am working on going manual and it helps to see that information.
My pleasure, Rebecca. Once you shoot in manual mode I promise you, you will not go back. I tried one day and after 3 photos I just could not, not be in control so I went back to manual mode….
It’s a leap of faith. I think after one more class I could jump!
The only way you will get it rights is practice, practice, practice. Even the photographers with 30+ years of experience will tell you the same. When I watch their videos for information and yes some tips too, I always find it comforting that they too make mistakes and that some of their photoshoots are epic fails. But that is how you learn.
Thanks, Coreen! I am laughing very heartily at myself. It did not occur to me to look on youtube and I can’t think of why. I look up everything else., how to reprogram a key fob, etc. 🙂 Are there photographers or channels you would recommend? I can’t wait to launch my further study of photography from my living room.
Rebecca what type of photography are you into. I follow a lot of photographers. Thomas Heaton, Adam Gibbs, Gavin Hardcastle, Gary Gough, Peter McKinnon, Perea Photography, Brendan Van Son, Simon Booth, Simon Baxter, Henry Turner, Mali Davies, Photography online. All of them give great tips and show you how they set up a shot.
Thanks for the tips and specific names, Coreen. I do landscape, garden, portraits and a bit of architecture photography.
