Good Morning: 8 November 2021

Good day friends,

I hope everybody had a good nights rest.

What a morning so far. I woke up and fed  the 4 legged children, sorted the washing and then sat down with my coffee and go through my emails.

NO INTERNET. I restarted the fibre as well as the wifi routers. Still nothing. I send a message to my internet provider and they still have not came back to me.  I was forced to buy a data bundle for my cellphone so that I can at least get some work done.

I went to the supermarket and when I stopped in the parking lot the announcement came over the radio. We have loadshedding for the rest of the week.

When I walked past the door of the supermarket I noticed that the power was off. We have loadshedding.  I did my shopping and when I got home I had to phone Lian to bring me the gate key so that I can get into the house.

Willow and I then went outside to feed the birds. That was when I saw Willow did some gardening🤬. She saw I was angry and dissappeared into the house. She keep digging out the grass and my plants. They say take her for walks. But that is when the digging increases. She gets a lot of attention and love. We play with her and she still dig and dig and dig….

Now we are waiting for the power to come on.

According to the weather forecast, we are having a cool Spring day. With a maximum temperature of 19°C and winds up to 25 km/h.

On my To-Do List for today.

  • Do Laundry
  • Edit
  • Schedule photo posts for the week.
  • Delete, sort  and back up photos on computer hard drive.
  • Prepare dinner

Well, that is it for now friends. Thank you for all your support and for taking the time to look at my posts. I am truly grateful for every view, like, and comment I receive.

Have a fabulous day.

  1. Power outages are frustrating, it makes me realize how much depends on the power. I’m not sure what loadshedding is, never heard that here. Have a good day, enjoy the sunshine.

    1. We don’t only have unexpected Power outages we also have planned load shedding. That is when certain areas don’t have any power for at least 2 – 2.5 hours. We have schedules for different stages. Stage 1 once a day, stage 2 and 3 depending on the day twice a day, Stage 4 3 times, and so on.
