Morning Greetings: 28 September 2021

How are you on this beautiful Tuesday morning?

Last week on our way home I saw a possible photo. I did not stop to take the photo but wanted to go back and see how it would look at sunrise. Yesterday evening I decided that I am going to see how it looks. I looked at the weather app and saw that Sunrise was going to be 6:26 am and it is going to be cloudy.

I got up this morning around 5:20am and Willow and I left around 5:50. I forgot to factor in traffic and arrived at my location around 6:15am giving me less than 5 minutes to set up. The photos is not what I envisioned. Like the other landscape photographers would say there was no atmosphere… No detail in the sky and I just missed the different colors of sky….

What have I learned? Get up earlier. Allow more travel time to location. Try to get to location at least an hour before sunrise. Give myself more time to set up and get the perfect spot.

I am not unhappy with the photos. It is just not what I had in mind. I also hoped that Table Mountain would be clearer.

It is a beautiful morning outside and according to the weather forecast we are having a clear beautiful cool Spring day. A maximum temperature of 18°C is predicted. It is a going to be another windy day….
