Morning Greetings: 14 September 2021

Good morning friends,

Hope everyone is still in good health.

Shadow is growing more confident each day. Yesterday evening he even jumped on the bed for a few minutes while Willow was sleeping on the couch. He is still not at comfortable being in the same room as Willow but at least he is coming in on his own. Willow stretched out and Shadow darted for the door. One day we will all live happily in harmony together…. This is one of my biggest wishes I put out there in the Universe.

Yesterday I realized that I need to get started on my Landscape Photography Portfolio. I have to put all this information and techniques to good use.

To do this I will have to start getting to know the different hiking trails around here and scouting for possible photo opportunities in the future. I will do these exploring expeditions over weekends when Morné can join me. I am still not sure what I am going to do on the day of the shoot though if it is over a weekend it is fine, but during the week it will mean I will have to go alone. I am not afraid to go alone on a hike, but to be honest these days it is not safe at all. I will have to get myself a bodyguard for the days when I go hiking alone.

It is a beautiful cloudy cool morning outside and according to the weather forecast we are having a cold and windy Spring day. A maximum temperature of 15°C is predicted.

On my To-Do List for today

  • Do research on hiking trails in and around Cape Town
  • Watch YouTube videos on landscape photography by Thomas Heaton.
  • Gaelic Lesson 🏴󠁧
  • Prepare Dinner

Wishing everyone a wonderful day.

🤗Big Virtual Hug 🤗
