Cee’s Flower Of The Day Challenge: 24 August 2021 – Small White flower – to be identified

Good day friends,

Here is my contribution for Cee’s FOTD Challenge.

If anyone can please help me identify it. Have worked through my books and also tried plant Id. They say it is Alpine Rock Jasmine, but the leaves looks different. Still waiting to hear from the people at Kirstenbosch and SANPARKS about help with identification of plants and flowers.

Small white flower. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Cape Town, South Africa

“If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly our whole life would change.”  ~Buddha

With all my heart, Thank You for your ongoing support and for taking the time to have a look at my post.

Stay safe and healthy. Till next time.

🌸Have a Fabulous day.🌸

  1. An image comparison indicates it may be Phlox, the botanical Garden you mention has beds of it there. I can’t quite match the leaves to it but there are two types, those that are ground cover and others that grow taller. There is more than a 50% chance google is wrong.
