The Four Agreements: Part 1

Over the next few weeks I am going to read The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz and just give you a summary of what I read and how I understand it. I am just a normal person and I find it interesting how different people see the world. This is not based on any typical religion. I hope you find it as interesting as I did. Please keep an open mind.

Chapter 1: The Toltec

In Southern Mexico, the Toltecs were known as “women and men of knowledge.” The Toltecs were scientists and artists who formed a society to explore and conserve the spiritual knowledge and practices of the ancient ones. Teotihuacan, the ancient city of pyramids outside of Mexico city was the place of gathering for the masters also known as naguals and the students.
Over the millennia, the naguals were forced to conceal ancestral wisdom.
A few apprentices misused it for personal gain and it was necessary to shield the knowledge from those who were not prepared to use it wisely.
Don Miguel Ruiz, a nagual, has been guided to share with us the powerful teachings of the Toltec.
It is not a religion. It is described as a way of life, distinguished by the ready accessibility of happiness and love.

I look forward to learn more about the Toltec teachings.

Tomorrow. Chapter 2: The Smokey Mirror.

With all my heart, thank you for your continued support.

Have a Blessed day.
