Good morning,
I hope you had a good nights rest, and for those of you that are still awake that you had a great day.
It is a beautiful cool morning with a light drizzle. According to the weather forecast we are having a cooler day today only 24°C.
I can’t do my quiet time in the garden this morning, but I am so grateful for the rain. The garden and I welcome it with open arms.

This morning I must take dad to get a Covid19 test done. He is going for a colonoscopy and gastroscopy on Tuesday and before he can be admitted they need a Covid test done.
Later today we are having loadshedding so no electricity between 12:00pm and 02:30pm. This gives me the opportunity to read and color.

Today is day 2 in my 28 days of Gratitude. Feel free to join me on my Journey to make Gratitude a part of my life like breathing.
It is funny how fast one can get into a habit of noticing everything and everyone around you and saying thank you. Yesterday while walking to the shop, I realized how lucky I am to have have a shop just around the corner of me. The security guard on duty was extra friendly today. To be honest I never even noticed him in the past.
Day 2: In the morning write down another 10 things you are grateful for and the reason why. Afterwards read it again and after you finished each one say Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Look for a smooth rock that will fit comfortably in the palm of your hand. This is your gratitude rock. Place it by your bedside and tonight when you go to bed take the gratitude rock hold it tight in your hand and think about all the things that happened during the day that made you grateful. Single out one that means the most to you and say Thank you. Repeat this for the next 26 days.
Have a wonderful Friday filled with gratitude and laughter. If you are on your way to bed have a peaceful nights rest.

It’s probably around 24 here too; but it’s in F… so not quite as nice.
