My flower of the day is a Iris

At my previous house I had purple, yellow and white Irises. When we moved here in 2002 I brought some bulbs with and planted it. It bloomed once or twice and then they all died. Still don’t know why.

You could imagine my surprise when this one single plant started blooming. I have no idea where it came from it just appeared. I am very grateful that it did. I love a Iris.
