I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas day.
This was our first Christmas without my Mother and I miss her a whole lot.It was a very emotional day for all of us and when I opened my present I had a hard time hiding my tears. Mom ordered my present earlier in the year and hid the book in a drawer where my dad found it when he was looking for the Christmas wrapping paper.
Looking forward to taking these road trips in honor of my Mom….
This year I said I ‘ll make a triffle… This was a first for me. Mom used to make it and I had big shoes to fill…
It looked great and also tasted divine.
