14 September 2013: On Route between Upington and Calvinia.
We left Upington early that morning to go to our next destination. Here are some photo’s taken along the way…
Calvinia is situated in the region known as the Hantam and is also near the Hantam Mountains. The town itself was established during 1848 and named after John Calvin. Between the village and the Hantam Mountains is the Akkerendam Nature Reserve. I captured the most beautiful flowers and landscapes at Akkerendam Nature Reserve.
