Wilken Family’s Outdoor Shoot Featuring on Website

The Wilken Family also wanted a fun outdoor shoot and fun it was indeed. At first we wanted to do both shoots on one day but I sat down and started thinking about the kids and the fact that they get tired and bored very easily. The evening of our meeting I suggested that we split the two photo shoots and also explained my reasons why. Mom and dad had no problems and understood completely where I was coming from.

I took Lian my youngest son with to assist me with the shoot. I just love the fact that both my boys are also interested in photography and I use them when they want to help. The kids loved him and like always he helped a great deal to get them to look at the camera. Because of the ages of the kids I tried to do the family portraits first and get them out of the way and then we moved on to all the fun and games. I had a blast photographing the Wilken Family.

This time of year the gardens at Joostenberg Bistro are just stunning and as you all know by now I just love taking photo’s there. The owners of Bistro and Farm are very good to me and I always visit the Bistro after a shoot for a to die for Dark Chocolate Milkshake.  This is just my way to thank them for the use of their beautiful gardens. I also try to give them some publicity and always tag them in my posts and on my social media pages.  Most of the families that had their photo shoots at  Joostenberg Bistro are still visiting there on a regular basis.
