10 September 2013: Springbok
In the middle of the main road of Sprinbok there is a big traffic circle. The space in this circle was used to make a garden and they build a memorial in commemoration of all the heroes and heroines of the Namaqualand uprising from 1798 to 1799. It is a beautiful garden with all of the flowers, trees and succulents that are indigenous to Namaqualand.
