Weekly Photo Challenge: Everyday Life

This morning Hubby took me on an outing to Blaauwberg. Here are some more everyday life scenes.

Every day people need to clean up our streets….

Okay I believe in job creation. But oh my goodness just look at the mess people make.  Why do the local municipalities even bother putting dustbins all along the sidewalk?

“As people alive today, we must consider future generations: a clean environment is a human right like any other. It is therefore part of our responsibility toward others to ensure that the world we pass on is as healthy, if not healthier, than we found it.” Dalai Lama

Everyday someone is cleaning our beaches…

This is so sad. Can’t people keep their bottle or paper in their beach bag or in their hand till they find a dustbin…

Everyday someone is filling up their vehicle with fuel or diesel…
Every day we spend time with friends either together or keeping in touch with different communication mechanisms.
Every day ships are sailing in and out of harbors….
Every day there are someone working on a ship….

    1. Some of us are and then you get those others that are not. I just wish people will realize that we are killing Mother nature bit by bit. Littering is only one many…

  1. I am afraid we are not so good…Why? May be because we take for granted the World: it is here and it is just for us!!…And we do not realize that we have to share it with the others, and with our sons, and with our grand sons, and, hopefully, with many more generations that will come day by day, year by year…

    1. I agree with you. I get very angry when I see people litter. My opinion is if you don’t have respect for Mother nature and our wonderful earth you can’t respect yourself of any other person..
